Pyromania phobia-a person who has a passion for fire; the way it look, feel and how satisfaction it is. The DSM Criteria are deliberate and purposeful fire setting on more than one occasion, tension or affective arousal before the act, fascination with, interest in, curiosity about, or attraction to fire and its situational contexts, also  pleasure, gratification, or relief when setting fires, or when witnessing or participating in their aftermath, the fire setting is not done for monetary gain, as an expression of sociopolitical ideology, to conceal criminal activity, to express anger or vengeance, to improve one's living circumstances, in response to a delusion or a hallucination, or as a result of impaired judgment and however the fire setting is not better accounted for by Conduct Disorder, a Manic Episode, or Antisocial Personality Disorder.
This disorder affects people mentally, physically and emotionally; it’s a cry for help and attention. It’s also a sign of feeling neglected, peer pressure, and stressful by setting things on fire is a way they relieve their emotions.
Being a pyro is part of the obsessive-compulsive spectrum. However the treatment for kids is simpler compared to adults. If a child is a pyromania someone can have them work on solving skills anger management, communication skills, or taught how to deal with their anger but with adults it’s harder mainly because of lack on cooperation so depends on their stage they can receive medicine or long-term psychotherapy.

Trichotillomania Disorder
http://jessicadelaforce.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/trich2.jpg
Trichotillomania is one of many that lie within the impulse control disorders. It is a disorder when someone has the irresistible urge to pull out his or her hair constantly. The constant hair pulling can be severe and causing balding to appear. Some think that this disorder is something one chooses to do but this lifestyle is not a choice.
Trichotillomania symptoms that we look for is,
1.) How is this person feeling before realizing they have the urge to pull?
2.) Does the constant pulling make this person feel relieved?
3.) Do they feel satisfied?
4.) Do they feel any distress?
5.) Is this causing problems in their work or social life?
6.) Can you see any bald patches?, are there any motion injuries?
7.) Is the result of the pulling causing strange behavior changes?
Trichotillomania affects a person emotionally, socially, and causes problems within the family. When having this disorder it can cause painful isolation. One with this disorder can begin to develop fear of exposure, and even embarrassment that makes them avoid any medical care.
Trichotillomania is an unhealthy and dangerous lifestyle. There is a lot of time that is spent covering up the loss of hair. Although this disorder seems as if it is a phase, it affects 4% of people in our population and can become really serious because of the chronic and very difficult treatments. Trichotillomania happens to be common in the state of Louisiana and there are even salons open to treat this horrifying disorder. Any patient who suffers from this tragic disorder is to see a Relief Specialists to receive treatments, which can result in 4 out of 5 patients cured in just on session. These sessions can be a viable solution to this disorder.

Shopping Addiction
by: Victoria Richard

Shopping addiction also known as compulsive-buying disorder or compulsive shopping. It affects about six percent of the U.S. population.  Shopping addiction is the compulsion to spend money, regardless of need or financial means. The addict may be addicted to a certain product, such as clothes or jewelry, but he or she may also buy anything from food and beauty products to stocks or real estate.
The people closest to the addict are sometimes the only ones to know about the problem.  They may hide their purchases, or make it seem as if they have plenty of money to shop without limits. Many compulsive shoppers convey an image of wealth and success while in reality they are deeply in debt. If they are unable to stop shopping or suffer from large amounts of shopping debt, an addiction may be present. A shopping addict may show an obsession with making purchases on a daily or weekly basis, shop to cope with stress, feel intense euphoria or excitement after making purchases, and buy unnecessary things or purchase items that go unused.
Louisiana is not common for compulsive buying disorders. Addiction isn’t an acute illness like chicken pox. Rather, shopping addiction is a lifelong issue that affects the patient’s motivational priorities; however, it can be effectively treated and managed.
There are many different treatments for shopping disorders. Cognitive behavioral therapy programs are the gold standard in behavior modification. This form of therapy typically consists of a single patient engaging with a trained therapist in a session-based format at some regular interval, often weekly. CBT is especially popular for its noninvasive and non-drug-based approach to therapy, which allows the patient to exercise more control over treatment than with other options. Residential or inpatient shopping addiction treatment centers exists with an eye toward physical isolation of the patient and an effort to monitor overall health during the initial stages of treatment. Your doctor might order prescription and over-the-counter medications during the acute phase of your treatment. Treatment usually begins with a period of behavior modification by means of one form of therapy or another.
